So i play single payer Hexxit for a couples hours and decided that it was time to make a server and start playing it with some friends, well the server it self set up fine, but theres quite a few differences from the normal Hexxit, for example a lot of items are in the too many items, but if you click on them it says they don't exist and than if you proceed to make that item by hand it would let you grab it from the crafting table, this is the biggest thing that i am having a problem with but i was curious if anyone had a solution?

I also forgot to mention that i cant also open the accessories tab, its as though it doesn't exist. i also havent noticed any nightmare mobs or new mobs outside the basic minecraft mobs, as well as there isnt any epic loot either, im wondering if the server wont allow certain mods?

Having the same exact problem, though it is more like none of the mods is on the server.

Don't have a solution for it though, just wanted to let you know, you are not the only one with this problem.

~Update!~ so i found out that a mod loader was needed, though there is yet again another problem, everytime the server shuts down the none vanilla items and blocks despawn and erase themselves off the map leaving giant holes everywhere. how would i fix this

Run hexxit.jar instead of minecraft_server.jar. Better yet, launch the server using the launch.bat or launch.sh file.

1.)yes i do not remember which one but after downloading it it allowed the mods to activate and run

2.)i start the server using the Launch file

3.) after using the forge, it still had to reload chunks after i had shut down the server. and there fore erasing everything i did involving the new mods previously
