Optifine Compatibility??

Are some of the mods in Hexxit not quite compatible with Optifine? I installed it because my computer has issues running minecraft since its not much of a gaming laptop, but I've been experiencing a lot if crashes and having the "Minecraft has run out of memory" screen ever since. Any help?

You -will- need to increase the memory of your hexxit installation by going to the launcher, clicking the gear in the top right corner and activating Permgen and memory to at least 2-3 (preferably 3)

Higher isn't always better in this case.

Also, make sure that java is up to date and that you are running the recommended hexxit version.
