  1. Those goddamn mongorians bettah not break-a my shitty wall!
  2. Unfortunately this has been reported as a bug before, if you create the world on creative none of the dungeons appear to be populated properly. You could try to recreate the world (using the minecraft recreate function), otherwise using MCEdit to copy your base over from the old world if you had one.
  3. It's not called an 'unstable rift' for nothing. Make sure to always have a rift remover at hand, or a dimensional gate to place over the rift if you don't want your house to be blown to shreds.
  4. Read the book again. Also look at the wikipedia page. http://wiki.technicpack.net/Smeltery_Multi-Block_Structure
  5. When a tower is spawned while you are in creative mode or on peaceful, it seems that they don't spawn. I also noticed that for some reason around a large radius of the player spawn they won't spawn. Either that or it could be completely random. Mostly underground towers don't spawn golems for me.
  6. Yes, well, if you would be as kind as to use the search function you'd realize it is actually a problem with a conflict between secretrooms and a chunk load error causing the chunk to be reset. There's no way to revert the damage done unless you've made backups.
  7. Unfortunately it seems to be directly related to Bukkit as far as I can tell. Hence why I don't use it anymore. They 'believe it is fixed' but I call pure grade A+ Horse-manure on this one, as it's happening on multiple servers.
  8. This is not a problem with Hexxit, but with minecraft in general as far as I know. This is one of the glitches I've mentioned earlier of which all admins always claim to be completely oblivious or that the user in question is lieing about it to get free experience. Unfortunately it has to do with chunks somehow storing the player's stats and not updating that information untill the player goes through that area again. Normally, chunks unload after a while, but chunks around a portal will stay in their active state and always consider the player to have the level they have when they entered/left, thus giving you potentially infinite experience if you plan it right. That being said, I have yet to test if this works in single player(/without multiverse)
  9. Update your java Are you even running the server from the included launch.bat and the game through the technicpack launcher? Edit: Why on earth would you not use the launcher and use mcpatcher instead?
  10. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/32x-johnsmith-technic-tekkit.29809/ http://www.jslegacy.com/
  11. Then it's not the same error. Make your own bugreport here http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/hexxit-bug-board.94/
  12. It's because you're using that 'thing' called Sphax as a texture pack. Due to the texture sizes being to big it won't load into the game and causes a crash due to your GPU not being able to handle the bitmap size... or... something. Downgrade to 64x or get a different texture pack that's worth using.
  13. Aside from shears becoming an omnitool that can somehow cut down trees and burn houses, some items introduced/fixed in 1.0.5 (offlawn) might become incompatible with clients. That's about it.
  14. Again, write a bug report about this if you could. Afteredit: I reïnstalled a new batch for the server and now notice some files are indeed different from the client version, however nothing that seems to be causing problems.
  15. This is a known issue. Don't use them.
  16. Probably a betterdungeons only chunk was triggered somewhere, yeah, sounds like you'll just have to start it over or figure out what chunk is causing crashes and rehash it using MCEdit
  17. I'll need to have the rest of that full crash log.
  18. Also the bane of pigs and random streamer. Bane of pigs is currently only spawnable and insta kills any enemy with over a billion damage Random streamer seems to be just a RNG arrow that keeps all possibilities in check, either that or it's a magically shapeshifting arrow. Eitherway, neither of these are craftable, trust me, I tried. I actually thought I wrote a thread about secret Tconstruct weapons but apparently mine got moved in favour of yours. Or I fell asleep on the keyboard again. Also, why a slime rod? Why not Manyullyn? Isn't Manyullyn always more superiour than slime? I'd generally go for paper just because frankly slapping a moss on there instead of manyullyn makes it indestructible already, making the best combination Manyullyn-Paper-Manyullyn + Moss + Quartz Maxxed. Then again, if you'd use a manyullyn fullguard you wouldn't need to use moss, but it'd break down eventually and generally be far harder to repair (because you'd need to get your hands on more manyullyn) However none of that really explains why you'd choose slime (being 2.0x) over a manyullyn (being 2.5x) toolrod... Edit: I wish I'd stop researching every single possibility once my mind starts questioning possibilities. The fullgaurd as opposed to other blade guards will also influence the durability of the blade, something that I forgot. Seemingly, a full manyullyn tool is more durable than anything in combination with slime, but adding a paper with moss makes it last somewhat longer as you'll probably never have to face 3000 hordemobs at once and generally between battles will regenerate the damage that was inflicted. Eitherway if it breaks down, it'll eventually repair itself again as to where the other will last a lot longer but become completely useless afterwards unless you always have a toolstation at hand.
  19. Odd, I haven't noticed this so far. I'll investigate it immediately. Please write a bug report so that 'hopefully' one of the staff will actually look at it. ... hopefully. EDIT: My Hexxit server came with a pre-generated set of config files. Could you go into your hexxit server's config files and look for the more bows.cfg, see if the IDs overlap those of your client, if not, adjust and see if that works. Make sure B:z is set to True
  20. Has anyone actually used any of the BD loot so far? I mean, the magic pickaxe and such are nice and all, but I find that they are generally outclassed by final tier TConstruct items. Besides, the monking sword doesn't seem to be all that special and especially the dwarven spear is a bit of a (complete) lackluster.
  21. Backup and then delete the file: 'C:/Users/titanoverlord/AppData/Roaming/.technic/hexxit/saves/Zero/mapwriter.cfg:1'
  22. Well, there's not an exact location but: You can find the turtle boss in Twilight Forest's underground with large areas. Then again, you can probably find it anywhere underground as long as it's big enough. Try looking around caves or mineshafts. The monking shows up in forest (and I suppose jungle?) biomes, but that's really all I can say. I did stumble onto a magic pickaxe by accident in one of the fortresses I think? Then again, I wasn't paying attention. All it does is just dig insanely fast.
  23. John Smith's remade texture pack with Technic's addons pumped in so most of the blocks are replaced but not everything, also seen here! http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/32x-johnsmith-technic-tekkit.29809/
  24. That's correct, hence why it doesn't add any protection.
  25. And as shown in the second screenshot, you can tap that to a seared valve-thingamajigger and then empty it into a drain with an upwards opening to fill it in there. But I suppose you saw that already.
