  1. Have you tried going to %appdata%/.technic and deleting Hexxit, then forcing a redownload?
  2. The only thing I noticed so far when analysing them is that the lava only 'exists' when you open the box (Enough Schrödinger for you?), otherwise, I have absolutely no clue as to what they do.
  3. Indeedly-do, adding to that the worst part is that, just like the legia bow, it seems to use essence arrows with either lesser effect or no effect at all, hence why I said Just wait >.> However, 30 damage per incredibly long range shot (16x Feather Fletch + Slime rod + Manyullyn Tip + 3x 72 Quartz) is good enough for me. If you got a netherstar farm, just make unbreakable insta-kill arrows. Check out mah page for more info on tweaking arrows. (Shameless plug) http://wiki.technicpack.net/Arrow_(Tinkers'_Construct) http://wiki.technicpack.net/Shortbow
  4. Well, at least the armor gui disables it as far as I know =s Also, be carefull though, I had some issues with the knapsack inventory randomly resetting for reasons unknown if you handle stuff too quickly. It's a pain in the rectum.
  5. Oh man, I totally forgot, add Esc::ExitApp To the end of any hotkey file, else it'll just infinitely loop and you won't be able to shut it down if something goes wrong >.>
  6. Keep in mind that this will affect all enchantments etc. too, so pre-generated worlds will crash your game.
  7. I'd like to second this, and also compatibility with the Legia bow would be nice (for the triple arrow, enchanted arrows and bomb shot). As for the quiver, don't forget you can craft a Knapsack to expand your inventory, or press O and store the quiver in any of the slots you have open, so it won't interact with the bomb shot. Just wait till you get one of the TConstruct bows
  8. Don't forget you can always use NEI to switch between creative and survival. If you can't see the NEI menu in the inventory, set the GUI scale to anything BUT Auto and press O a few times in the inventory menu. Have fun and be carefull, it's dangerous out there!
  9. Probably redundant, but have you tried launching the game with 3 GB and permgen enabled from the launcher?
  10. Please go to %appdata%/.technic/hexxit and give us the latest ForgeModLoader-client-0.log
  11. The error log would suggest that Eplus is either not installed or that someone placed an enchantment table somewhere that's not been converted to the one added/modified by Eplus I suggest opening the world in MCedit and removing ALL enchantment tables. Was this world generated pre 1.0.5, or did you not have Eplus engaged at the time?
  12. While there is a mod that allows you to make macros in game, I'd suggest downloading autohotkey and making a script like the following ^Space:: Loop, n { WinWait, Hexxit, IfWinNotActive, Hexxit, , WinActivate, Hexxit, WinWaitActive, Hexxit, MouseClick, left, xxx, yyy Sleep, 2 MouseClick, left, xxx, yyy Sleep, 2 } Return Get the mouse coordinates you'd need and just jam ctrl + Space to get it moving, edit how many times you want it to loop. I know it's basic, but I haven't really worked with it that much yet.
  13. All I can gather is that this is some kind of debug message from Twilight Forest and there's no way to remove it. Anyone else got any info?
  14. I don't see how this is a problem for hexxit, neither do I use factions. Maybe you should google it or try the minecraft forums instead, there's usually some comprehensive tutorials and troubleshooting pages.
  15. Try x3G s2G instead of 2 and 1. Seems to me you just ran out of memory. Infact, try 4G and 3G just for the hell of it. Make sure your friend is also using the required amount of memory, I don't know why but for some reason that affected me and a friend playing on lan as well. EDIT I'm sorry, I didn't see there was a 2nd page, and your huge-ass posts are making it kind of hard to track the real problems. You are going to need more ram to actually play the game while hosting it, I'm afraid.
  16. As far as I've noticed, creating a world in creative or generating new dungeons on peaceful will remove all the spawners from your area. Might be a glitch on my end, but that's mostly how it goes.
  17. Yes please. This is probably my fourth day on the forum and I'm already getting sick of how many times I've had to write 'Use the search function'.
  18. ...Use the search function. There's litteraly four topics on this on the bug list's 1st page. Either: Disable your anti-vrius Manually go to the link and download the zip and unblock the website from your antivirus.
  19. Disable your anti-virus before starting the hexxit download. If this doesn't work, manually go to the link and download it. Use the search function in the future.
  20. Really? I thought there was a setup in coremods. Maybe I should update my servers.
  21. MCPC+ has been reported to cause a lot of crashes and problems with Hexxit servers, apparently, but I wouldn't personally know anything about that. People recommend using Forge Essentials, however these are only available as beta builds for 1.5.2 as of late and are noted to be: 'Unstable (...) and (we) the creators (...) take no responsibility for loss of data' http://driesgames.game-server.cc:8080/job/ForgeEssentials-betabuilds/ However, I'd still recommend allocating more memory and adding the previously given command line. Rmember, ALWAYS make backups. Adding to that, most servers have an autorestart every hour to prevent crashes.
  22. If the gear only goes up to 1 GB I'm afraid you might need to get more memory to properly play... Like I said, perhaps moving the character to spawn somewhere else using MCEdit might have fixed it somehow, but I guess we'll never find out. Was it a world from an older version? If so there might have been a mismatch or corrupted chunk unloading somewhere.
  23. I'm suspecting you need to increase the memory from the Hexxit launcher. Click the gear on the top right of the launcher and set your memory to at LEAST 2-3 GB, but no higher than 5 GB. Enable Permgen Try again. If not, open the map in MCEdit and move the player around, seems like there might be something wrong with the spawn.
  24. Put 45 blocks in the top slot, 45 pieces in the bottom slot, then write a 5 line mouse macro to do it for you in less than 10 seconds.
  25. Holding down shift will make only one block break as far as I'm aware. Go to your hexxit's config folder and look for the TreeCapitator.cfg, edit what you don't want chopped. It's not that hard. Please use the search function or at least google next time.
