  1. Please use the search function next time. Increase the memory available to hexxit by going into the launcher and clicking on the gear in the top right. It is recommended to have at least 2-3 GB available, but no more than 5. Also check permgen and make sure you are running the latest recommended build.
  2. Sleep is for the weak!

  3. I did try to install that before, but unfortunately due to incompatibility with Player API (Required for some mods I'm tweaking along with Hexxit), it won't run. The update that will have it support player API will probably roll out with an update to the 1.6.2 version.
  4. And have you tried any of those on a singleplayer 'server'? My question is if anyone knows a -compatible- single player mod that allows teleportation between dimensions. I could try every single mod I come across, but so far most of them crash.
  5. Looking around a bit I can't really seem to find a valid fix for this. Is there a mod out there compatible with Hexxit that allows you to use /home etc. between different dimensions without being warped into the void or other nonsense, SPECIFICALLY for single player purposes? I'm already aware of the dozen server mods available for bukkit and such.
  6. Less sleep, more building.

  7. So does this mean that it no longer crashes? If it does, could it be possible that the chunk the player spawns in is somehow corrupted? Again, it might be advisable to lower the cap to 5 GB just to be safe. I've had some wonky things happening at anything frankly above 6. And also, the permgen thing, turn that on, might save lives.
  8. I've read some topics that note that the website that hosts it comes across as a threat to some anti-virus programs, however, aren't all files hosted on that server? Is there anyone tech savvy enough to explain this? Disabling your anti-virus and then running the mod should download it properly, after which you may start the anti-virus program again.
  9. Considering this is user error and not really a bug I'd suggest not to post this to prevent clutter. The stated problem is a feature which is also explained in the original forum post somewhere.

Use the search function next time. Increase your permgen and memory size. Use '-Xmx3G -Xms2G -XX:MaxPermSize=256M -Xincgc -jar Hexxit.jar'
  11. First: Update your LWGJL to the latest recommended version. If this doesn't fix it do the following- Please supply the log file under: %appdata%.technic/hexxit/crash-logs/ Also note that it's recommended to use 2-3 GB (I'm using 5 GB personally), but not an overkill amount due to Java being silly. Have you selected permgen in the launcher options? (Under memory) As a last attempt, try going into: %appdata%.technichexxitbinnatives and backup OpenAL64.dll, then remove it from the folder. See if this works.
  12. I've had this problem frequently, but usually by coaxing crashes. Unfortunately, this error log doesn't tell us anything other than your Java version being hopelessly outdated even though you mention using 7 it says it's using 6 - 14, try using the windows software browser to delete the older versions of java still lingering about. Latest version should state 7.0_25-b08 build 1.7.0_25 I believe. Perhaps playing around with the launcher's permgen and memory settings may help you. Also, this error log seems to be incomplete. Please go to your main tekkit classic folder in the %appdata%/.technic path, look for a folder called crash-reports and please add the LATEST crash report.
  13. 1. Update Java 2. Increase permgen 3. Increase memory If problem persists: It is said that the chocolate dungeon 'pirate island' causes a lot of crashes. I'd suggest finding out where it crashes, then going into the chocolate folder in hexxit's mod folder and deleting them one by one. Please use the search function next time, as this has been gratuitously discussed on the forums.
  14. I believe this is because (just like the other items in this mod) they will eventually break, be it enchanted or not, half the time the enchantments don't seem to stick or actively work. Not sure if this is really so problematic as the armor itself has zero value.
  15. Copy of 'http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/portals-resetting-specific-chunks.49643/' See the thread I linked and see if it works for you or not. I generally suggest making a backup before jumping out of the portal and if that doesn't work just copying the chunk with your house in it and slapping it back on after the crash.
  16. Please post this question under the following thread with the required information if you haven't done so already: http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/hexxit-bug-board.94/
  17. I would still generally recommend NOT to attempt any modifications unless you ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. A lot of people think it's as easy as renaming a few files, but this usually ends up in a heap of a mess and destroys your installation. ' Just sayin' '
  18. Please post this under the correct form in ' http://forums.technicpack.net/forums/hexxit-bug-board.94/ ' Add all the information required so I can make out what's going on.
  19. You -will- need to increase the memory of your hexxit installation by going to the launcher, clicking the gear in the top right corner and activating Permgen and memory to at least 2-3 (preferably 3) Higher isn't always better in this case. Also, make sure that java is up to date and that you are running the recommended hexxit version. Please use the search function next time, let me know if this helped!
  20. This is unrelated to the Hexxit mod pack. Go google 'Vote Minecraft Bukkit' and figure it out from there.
  21. Try setting your server through: '-Xmx3G -Xms2G -XX:MaxPermSize=256M -Xincgc -jar Hexxit.jar' If this doesn't work, either update your Java to the latest recommended version, or try to run the game on Java 1.6 instead of 1.7 There are rumors left and right that java/minecraft is unstable on linux.
  22. Fully remove the Hexxit folder from the .technic folder, backing up any worlds you have, then redownload. Please reply if this did not fix your problem
  23. This appears to be a problem with the server you are playing on, not Hexxit by default.
  24. If not, one of your armor pieces or weapons must be enchanted with magnetization. Meteor armor also has this enchantment.
  25. Try setting your server through '-Xmx3G -Xms2G -XX:MaxPermSize=256M -Xincgc -jar Hexxit.jar' Use the search function next time. Reply if this didn't fix your problem.
