0 Milk Posted April 8, 2012 Posted April 8, 2012 Did you make sure it's the right version for your OS? By that I mean 32 bit or 64 bit. Also, you can't just say you have "Windows". There are different versions of windows. Put something like "Windows 7 32bit".
0 Black_Mist Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 Re: Tekkit 2.1, Windows 7 64x, Java 64x Unexpected exeption? I have windows 7 64x and thats the download I did, and sorry for not specifying
0 Milk Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 I'm not sure at this point. Try reinstalling java, I guess? But only install JRE. You don't need both, and that might be an issue.
0 Taranis Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 Have you also tried this? If you install Java, it does not remove old versions. You can manually control the version it is using under Windows by going to the Control Panel and opening the Java icon there. Go to the "Java" tab, then click "View..." (under Java Runtime Environment Settings). This will show the versions of Java installed to your machine. If you have some programs that still require a different version of Java, I would recommend not removing old versions, but instead controlling what applications use each. You can also simply uncheck Enabled for your old versions if you are unsure about removing them. Just make sure to leave the 1.7 version enabled for Minecraft's server. If nothing works and you can live without the advanced machines, then you could just disable them.
0 Black_Mist Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 Milks idea worked but thanks for replying, but thanks a lot MILK!
