Spreading rift will NOT go away.

I have a spreading rift near my house, It's on a small island connected to the mainland and no matter how many times I fly around the area on creative using my rift remover, It always comes back larger. It seems to dissapear when I remove it, (endermen stop spawning, all the rifts are gone, etc.) but then when I come back it's just worse than before. Any help? D:

Have you tried switching back to survival, then using the rift remover? You need to make sure you remove all rifts, if you leave 2 or more they will continue to spread and multiply.
