Having issues instaling Tekkit on TCAdmin Server

Ill begin by saying ive never done stuff like this before.

Im trying to get tekkit installed on a brand new server. Ive followed about 3 differant ways to get it working using a load of help forums and such ive found using google and one of two things happen when i start the server either it says server has started and not accepting players or it says server has started and i cant login to it using the tekkit launcher but i can log in using the vanilla launcher.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thats what comes up when the server wont let me join it.

When the server comes up i can log in with the vanila launcher but no other and there is nothing of tekkit on the server its as if it was just a vanilla server nothing more.

that's because it probably is just vanilla. the first thing you need to do is contact the hosting provider's tech support and ask if it's even possible for you to run tekkit on their service. depending on their setup, it may be difficult or impossible. if it's doable, they should be able to tell you the steps needed for their specific site to get it running, I hope.

After fiddling around with this i can say that if i turn Bukkit off i can get onto the server as a vanilla server but when i turn bukkit on it says the server is on but not accepting players.

I dont know if it makes a difference but alongside TCAdmin im using McMyAdmin web admin console.

And now the config folder got itself deleted somehow and i cant upload my backup folder.
