Adding New Mods into Hexxit

Recommended Posts

So, I've been playing Hexxit for a while now and it's freaking awesome. But I feel that it's lacking in terms of new dimensions. So far I only know of the Twilight Forest and The Limbo. I've been thinking of adding Divine RPG (if it updated to 1.5.2) and Aether 2. Thoughts on this? DO you know if it will work? Or will my laptop explode if I try?

Well then let me introduce you to my own custom Modpack. I have used all the base mods that Hexxit uses since I loved Hexxit so much but I added some mods I felt were really missing to give Minecraft that ultimate RPG gameplay I have always been looking for. The real difference between this modpack and any other modpacks are Tales of Kingship, Minefantasy, and the Aether Mod. These are three mods I feel are absolutely essential for a true RPG gameplay experience in Minecraft. Every other RPG modpack that doesnt include these three mods packs together are only second best and that's why I decided to call this Modpack "The Best RPG Mod Pack Ever."

I also am continually updating and testing every mod I come across and working to incorperate in the best format. I really would love for this to become a community effort. I am currently seeking permission from modpack authors to be able to release this modpack as is for your enjoyment. In the meantime I offer you all the configuration files and I would ask that you please watch my youtube video and support all the mod authors. I will include the configuration files and I will soon provide a packaged modpack for you to enjoy.

I am currently in communication with a few mod creators to work through always keeping this modpack updated and utilizing each mod as it was meant to be used. Its not a mishmash of mods but a labor of love. For instance Minefantasy has often been included in a few other modpacks but has never really been presented within the context of how its actually meant to be used. So even though I love Tinkers Construct I almost feel it destroys the potential for Minefanstasy. Its a good alternative to work through but Minefantasy has so much to offer that Tinkers Construct can eliminate the need for all the work that has been poured out into Minefantasy as almost a stand alone mod in many ways. These are just some of the things I want to consider and have your help in building the Best RPG Modpack Ever!!

So just to be clear I added everything Hexxit adds in their Modpack but I also added additional mods and spent hours upon hours rewriting configuration files and testing the modpack. I can honestly say that I have never played a Minecraft game quite like this!!!

I have created a Minecraft Forum Post and I will have the link to the mods, and all the configuration files you need to run this awesome modpack on 1.5.2. Thaumcraft and Thaumic Tinkerer will not be included because I don't have permission but with Ars Magica you will have an awesome magical experience regardless.
