1.1.8 not working on MAC

i logged in and nobody was online and i was looking for some trace of u around but all i found was a para chest after hours of searching

I am on mac running 10.8.4 and I checked the PermGemSize option that purportedly fixes 1.1.8 tekkit crashing but I am still crashing. I crash while the launcher is still loading the game, the white screen just goes away and the program closes. Can't log in to single player or multiplayer at all.

any suggestions?

No. I had this same problem with 1.0.6 I found a fix on another forum where a guy provided new files for the bin file in the tecnhic folder in application support. I replaced those files with the new .jar files and it works. The 1.1.8 update updates those files as well and I can't use the old 1.0.6 .jar files because they aren't compatible with the new version. when I reverted back to 1.0.6 I still had to go back in and replace the default .jar files that are in the technic bin to get the launcher to load the game.

I hope I am explaining this coherently, if not tell me what you don't get
