Total Tekkit newbie... Beginners guide?

Hey all,

I just discovered tekkit, and it looks absolutely amazing, but as you can imagine I am completely overwhelmed. Where do I start? Are there any getting started guides or tutorials I could follow to get a grip on all of the different mods?

Best bet is to find some YouTube "Lets Play" videos. The MindCrafters have some great Tekkit tutorials but they tend to focus on one mod pack at a time. Another one I watched a lot of was TheOnlyBently. I can't remember if he only had Tekkit Lite though.
