Moderators Munaus Posted September 14, 2013 Moderators Posted September 14, 2013 Are you telling me you have 100 GB of free RAM in your computer. I assume you are talking about minecraft and Technic launcher, right? There is a cog button on the top right corner of the Technic launcher, click on it. If you're not talking about Minecraft, please expand your post with a bit more information. Nobody can read your mind... Quote
thedysons Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 I'm talking about technic and when you open the main page where you chose the mod you want to play and what I want is to increase the amount of space allocated to technic. I've got free space on my computer but it won't let me go any higher that 1GB and I know about the gear in the top corner. Any ideas? Quote

Moderators Munaus Posted September 14, 2013 Moderators Posted September 14, 2013 If you have a 32-bit OS then you can't raise it any higher. If you have 64-bit OS you should be able to raise the memory usage through the launcher options, I don't know of any other way Quote
Kocken926 Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I think he has confused RAM with hard drive memory... Quote
Torezu Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 "Only" 100GB free likely means a small hard drive, which may mean a 32-bit OS, which probably means 32-bit Java. You're stuck at 1GB, I'm afraid, unless you can confirm that you have a 64-bit OS and can install the version of Java to match. Quote
