Pixcodelix Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 So I set up my modpack (SocioCraft) and file hosted it. When I play my modpack on my own vanilla minecraft it plays alright, but, if you play my modpack on technic it will just crash when creating a new map. What changed? Is it because I put in the file all the folders from .minecraft? Quote
Amaxter Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Next time please give us the crash report so we can understand what's happening. But being the awesome cake man that I am, I found your modpack, downloaded it, and didn't find a problem. Creating a new world was fine, so I'm not sure what your issue is. Give me the crash report you get and then I can help you. Quote
Pixcodelix Posted September 28, 2013 Author Posted September 28, 2013 Lord all mighty, so this means that irony had been taking over my modpack in a way that I cant use it myself? It will just suddenly close after a while in creating a map Quote
Amaxter Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 That's odd, no crash report at all? What OS and what version of Java do you have? Check your forge logs in your modpack directory. Quote
Pixcodelix Posted September 28, 2013 Author Posted September 28, 2013 I just donwloaded it again but it takes foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, nope no crash reports just a sudden white screen followed by the modpack closing itself. I am using Java 7, my OS is Windows 7 Home Premium Quote
Pixcodelix Posted September 28, 2013 Author Posted September 28, 2013 Also, how many GB do you give to this modpack? Quote
Amaxter Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I gave the default 1 GB. I'm running Mac OS X Mountain Lion, try asking other users if your pack if this happens. Also try increasing the perm gen size in Technic Launcher settings. That might fix the issue. Quote
Pixcodelix Posted September 28, 2013 Author Posted September 28, 2013 Alright THANKS! It looks like the issue was to check the box in the settings menu! THANKS! Quote
Amaxter Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 No problem, the cake man's job here is done. :) Quote
