Operating System: Windows 7 64bit

Version of Java: 64bit

Description of Problem: When I click log-in it runs through the normal stuff and opens the game as a plain white window, no advancements after that.

Error Messages: None

I have read all the stickies, deleted the METAINF, nothing has changed. I'm hoping you would see something in the log because my problem seems pretty broad in possibilities.

Deleted the METAINF, too, didn't do anything. It happens with all modpacks, even vanilla.

Edit: Voxelpack says: failed update, so cannot test if it happens there too.

Also having this issue. Reinstalled, deleted META-INF, etc. Read all stickies relating to the issue.

Which pack version are you using? You've only given the launcher. To find the pack version, go into the options panel in the launcher.

it is with every pack at me, yogbox, technic, tekkit, and all the versions of those, and VoxelBox just says update failed :P

I use the 1.2.1 and the 1.2.3. Have the same issue, White screen upon starting all of the different modpacks.

lol i deleted my META-INF and it fixed it

Edit: Well, no Vanilla spawns and i get every 30 seconds a message that says: Error when trying to save building. Check millenaire.log

I'm having the same problem

As far as I can tell it's because the launcher can't download lwjgl.jar and lwjgl_util.jar files but I don't have any idea what that means or how to fix it...

Hm? I forget exactly where the LWJGL files are located (somewhere in .techniclauncher. Just go to the LWJGL, download the newest version and replace the old LWJGL files with the new ones.

If you want to try deleting the .techniclauncher, make sure you back up your saves and configs.

You can clear the cache by clicking on the respective button in the Launchers Options button (under the Login Button).

Hey, it started working. What I did:

1. Manually downloaded (as in placed the link in an internet browser) lwjgl.jar and lwjgl_util.jar files from the links provided in the log and placed them in my \.techniclauncher\technicssp\bin folder.

2. Deleted minecraft.jar in the same folder.

3. Launched the launcher, it downloaded everything and minecraft began to work.

All of that was probably stupid and pointless because I then reinstalled the technic pack and it worked perfectly without a hitch (Note: I DID try reinstalling earlier today and it white-screened then), so probably it somehow just got fixed by itself :D
