launcher self deletes after launch

Description of Problem:

every time i start the launcher, it self deletes, forcing me to redownload it, its only been an issue today, normally this doesnt happen

Update Java to the newest version, and disable your antivirus. Overzealous antivirus programs like to eat things that are doing alot of stuff in user related parts of the machine, Roaming Appdata included.
