How to enable JVM arguments in a modpack??

i wanted to know how to enable and change the JVM arguments in a modpack? ( because i want to add optifine and make it work along side with forge)

well, don't worry. the newer versions of optifine for 1.6.2 and 1.6.4 can be loaded from the mods folder, and 1.5.2 and past versions of minecraft don't need the DFML patch to work with jar mods.

oh no, shaders arent compatible with optifine yet :(
