Minecraft crashes when trying to move items from chests/inventory

Question

Title: Minecraft crashes when trying to move items from chests/inventory

Version: 0.5.1

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate - service pack 1 (32 bit)

Java Version: Latest

Description of Problem:

So i started playing Tekkit lite with some friends and everything went fine. But when i built a chest and tried to grab some items from my inventory to put them in the chest the game simply froze and Java crashed. I restarted the game, thinking it was just a random crash, but then it happened again, and again, and again, now i can't do anything because it would crash whenever i try to grab something, and i'm not the only one having this problem. Please help, thanks.

Please, do not simply say "I am having same problem". That is literally the least helpful thing you could possibly say in regards to this, ever, period. The proper thing to do is fill out your own bug report, including full logs and reporting.

Speaking of which, we will need you to provide a full error log to render further assistance, if you are still looking to have the issue resolved.
