Adding mods to tekkit lite

Does anyone know if its possiable how to add mods to tekkit lite such as mo'crsatures and mekanism thanks :)

Place the mod files in the Tekkit lite mod folder.

is that it, i have added mods thou mo'creatures never worked for some reason and i havent yet tried mekanism on the bases of it might not work

i wonder if we can upgrade basic steves cart in tekkit lite in steves cart 2?? I dont want to mess things up so if anyone has tried...

I thought you needed some spawning control mod in addition.
