Mods doesn't work

So, I've just recently downloaded tekkit and a server for it. Played a while, could and can play perfectly, but when it comes to crafting...it just doesn't work. I'm putting them in the right order, and I get the image that it's correct. But I can't take it out...

Works perfectly in single player, but not when I'm playing on the server. Guessing something on the server is f'ing everything up?

Could be that the server is struggling with something at the moment. Is it's CPU/RAM usage unusually high at the moment?

No, not really, rebooted everything including the computer. One mod decided to work, but another one bugged out. Can't find any copper. I've been digging for almost an hour nonstop at 50-40 without finding a single copper or tin ore. And what I can remember copper isn't THAT rare.

When you run the tekkit server you should be running launch.bat (which, in turn runs Tekkit.jar). It sounds like you may be running minecraft_server.jar, which is a necessary file (I think) but should not be run... doing that results in a vanilla server.
