Description of Problem:

Everyone who downloads a my Millenaire Elite modpack can't run it. It can't be the modpack's fault, as the entire .zip file downloads to the cache folder during the times dropbox doesn't stop downloads because of exceeding the max bandwidth. The launcher just doesn't extract it right, and stops at multiple locations for other people. Maybe it is the modpack's fault, though I highly doubt it. The comments on the modpack from other people give lots of details regarding this.

Well for starters stop using dropbox

Provide me a link to the zip that won't be blocked and I'll look at it, I've got a few ideas already as to the problem

EDIT: You also might want to take that adfly link down and replace it with a direct link, I'm not sure if the board rule of no adfly links extends to the platform but better safe than sorry, preferably NOT to the direct links as SURPRISE, they are blocked

I did stop using dropbox, instead resorting to ubuntuone. It fixed one problem, but now there's another- after 10 minutes of downloading, it finishes then stops. Sometimes it tries downloading again with this console log-

I don't think the launcher even recognizes that the file downloaded successfully. The .zip is still there, but the launcher crashes when done downloading. The only error I get about that is similar to this-

Failed to download http://ubuntuone.com/53OvZh1PbQs5S5I6daJNVA

And other times this-

I searched around the web for any answers, but none really could relate to the problem I was having. Everything in the modpack settings worked perfectly before, so nothing there should be a problem. As for the ME server, I'm willing to remove the adf.ly link. It's just convenient to see who and how many people download the server for it. I don't really want to post a direct link, considering ubuntuone has the slowest download speed and would take about 10 minutes to download the server.

Haha! I have found the error. I had Millenaire and damage indicators installed, and the config file name had a special character é in it, which just needed to be removed.
