Title: Cannot launch Tekkit

Version: 1_0_3

OS: Windows 7 Home premium 64x

Java Version: Java 7 Update 45 64x

Description of Problem:

When i try to launch Tekkit through the Technic launcher it always crashes and i have no idea why.

Nevermind, fixed it myself(Chicken Chunks broke it) so now i can get to the main menu but then it still doesnt work as when i start making a world it gets stuck on "Building terrain". So I'm just abandoning it. Thanks for the hel... oh wait nobody helped i did it myself, so thanks for nothing.

p.s. What the hell is the point in this thing if nobody does anything about the problems...

You do realize, in the middle of exam season, and in the middle of the workday, you're pissed because you happened to find a 45 minute window when no one with the ability to help was online?

On a helpful note, did this occur randomly, or did you just install the modpack?

I made this post 3 days ago, and on the weekend...

Anyway.

The problem randomly occurred, i was playing Hexxit for a bit and then got bored of it so a few days later i watched the Yogscast playing it so i installed that. And since that it hasn't worked and it's impossible to get it working.

i found out that Chicken Chunks causes the crash on the Mojang screen so i deleted it but then that causes the game to not load worlds properly so I'm kinda stuck.(and it gets stuck on the "Building Terrain" screen).

Yeah sorry bout that. I misread the first post's date.

Have you tried completely deleting/uninstalling and reinstalling the launcher? If it's only happened since you tried to download the pack, then it's possible something got broken during the installation.

Something is accessing the config while the program is trying to run it. Disable your antivirus and see if that helps.

And next time, please be aware that we are doing this of our own volition, and we do have our own worlds to play and things to do. This is a free service, after all.
