Title: Everytime I go on tekkit and the Mojang screen comes up it crashes

Version: 3.1.2

OS: Windows 7 HP Pavillion dv5 Notebook PC

Java Version: Java 7 Update 45 32 and 64 bit

Description of Problem:

When I go on tekkit it loads and goes to the mojang screen as normal. Then after a few seconds it says there is a crash with

java.lang.RuntimeException: unknown character.

Fartbob56 I just saved my saves folder and deleted the tekkit folder In the assets folder. Then go into the launcher and play. Then go back into the assets-tekkit folder and paste your saves in the folder and get rid of the saves folder that was in the tekkit folder.
