How many engines to power quarry at maximum speed

How many engines of each type does it takes to power the quarry at its top speed? Preferently, how many magmatic engines.?

can't remember specific output of Magmatics, but I think it's 3 or 4 MJ/t. Based on this thread from a while back, that means you can use something like 10-15 Magmatics to fully power a quarry.

Quarries do not take the same amount of power at all times. It varies depending on what it's doing at that moment. According to the wiki they can take as much as 48 MJ/t and my experience hasn't proven that figure wrong so we'll go with it. Weir's estimate is pretty spot on.
