Whenever I try to play a modpack it says error downloading file please help

sometimes antivirus can interfere with downloading -- if you have any installed you may want to disable it while you run/install the modpack.

I turned off the firewall it dosnt work i have a mac

but macs are better, or so they say, why would you be having touble? you paid three times what I did for my ailenware, yet I have no issues, try right clicking the jar and running it....wait no right click....ummm can you send us a screen shot. I know that command is printscreen button and paste on a pc but on a mac isnt it Apple key ⌘ + Shift + 3 (it is like playing twister with your fingers). the exact error would help us help you
