Quick question about parachutes

I have a green parachute in my inventory, and I hit space in my rocket to take off. The game gave me the message: "I don't have a parachute! If I press launch again, there's no going back." I have the parachute with me.. does it always say this? Or does the parachute need to be in a specific spot?

There's a dedicated equipment slot in the inventory screen for it. Also note that the parachute that is an optional module of the power suit is not the same as Galacticraft's parachute, although it would achieve the same end result.

You could just install a shock absorber module to your power suit boots, I mean you'd probably have the resources for it if you've got enough for a spaceship.

diamond armor is for NOOBS, once you go full power suit you will never go back, buhahahhahahahah
