Creepcruncher Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 I'm using luke's guide to making a modpack, but, the guide says extract forge and shows it's icon as a load of books. However, I got universal forge like he did but it's a Java file. I've got the latest one for 1.6.4, am I doing something wrong? Quote
Creepcruncher Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 I had the installer version, woops, but the universal version is the same, as in being a java thing instead of what the guide showed. Quote
SXScarecrow Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 If you right click the JAR files (Java ARchive), and (assuming you have 7zip installed) go to 7zip-> Extract files, you can all the files that you need. Quote
Amaxter Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Simply download the universal version of the Forge build you're using and rename it modpack.jar, then place in the bin folder of your modpack. Voila! In fact, since I'm a nice cake man, I'll give you the link: (Mod edit: NO ADFLY) Quote
Creepcruncher Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Ok, I've got a pack sorted, cheers! Quote
Amaxter Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Ok, wasn't aware of the whole adfly rule, next time I'll just give a direct link. Quote
