Launcher Version: it says 0 when i click that icon

Operating System: windows 8

Java Version: newest

Antivirus Program: windows defender

Description of Problem:

when i open it there is no mods and writes loading after a few min it says add modpack when i try to add i am taking that error adding parsing platform response

Nope nope. Try again. Click the Cog-wheel button on the top right corner of the launcher window and tell us which build it is

Google or ask a friend if you don't know

Same deal, Cog-wheel button and you will see the log button. Post the latest file - the full content - between quote tags or pasted on pastebin.com and give us a link.

I fixed that problem but i have another problem now when i open a mod pack (infinix) it starts then after that infinix screen it closes without any error

and i tried to reinstall java

Well I'm glad you fixed your problem, but I'd be happier if you could tell how you fixed it.

And custom modpack support doesn't belong here, go bug the modpack creator
