Mod packs won't load

Description of Problem:

When. I run it as administrator and I hit the mod pack it says access denied running it as the administrator is what is spouse to fix it but it's doing it when I run it

I know you are using java 7 upgrade 51 and windows 8. I never asked what version you used, I asked what bits. There are 32 and 64 bits.

What bits is your OS and java? Ask a friend or google if you don't know

That's the problem right there... You have a java designed for 32 bits OS, while your OS is 64.

Uninstall that java and get a java 7 upgrade 51 for 64 bits

Your log is cluttered with your earlier attempts to run the tekkit and hexxit modpacks.

Delete the error log in the log folder, try again downloading a modpack from Platform - you just need to click the modpack, get the URL and copy it to your launcher where you can choose "Add new Modpack" - do this and after you get a "failed to download" go to the log folder and post the latest log - this one will be less cluttered and show me why your launcher is having trouble downloading.

Try deleting the Tekkit modpack from %appdata% -> Roaming -> .technic -> modpacks ->

Remember to backup any saves before deleting!
