Tekkit Server Setup

I am setting up a Tekkit Server and have a few questions. Can you add more mods (I want something to lock chests) and how do I install them? Also, what can I use in substitute for Hamachi since it only allows 5 people (it needs to work with mac) and how to I install that?

the "lock chests" mod you're looking for is a plugin, not a mod and it's call lwc. search the bukkit forums for it
