rickg Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Hello, I got tekkit classic and it lags allot. It is not my computer it is the modpack. I got 12 GB of ram and 512 mb of vram that should be enough. It lags already at the title screen. I hope you guys have a fix for this many thanks, Rick G

Catch22 Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 RAM makes very little effect on your FPS (I'm assuming you mean FPS lag). What would 'bottleneck' your system is the processor and GPU. If your processor is a very minimal 2ghz dual core with no external GPU (aka Graphics card) then you will notice severe lag. To check your processor in Windows you can right click the task bar and open TaskManager and view the number of cores and the clock of your CPU. Hope this help! rcmaehl 1
