LongMustache Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Hi, is there any way to store MJ from stirling/combustion engines? Because my engines keep exploding after quarry encounters oil (which has to be manually removed...) and storing the energy would solve the problem for the most part. Or a way to connect MJ engines to energy conduits? Or should i just move to dynamos permanently? Is there a way to power quarries with dynamos? thanks?
Kotja Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 You can power BC machines with Dynamos, but you must use conduits to connect dynamos and BC machines
TonyVS Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 te3 conduits convert on the fly, even just one link, so anything plugged into anything will work with the conduit, you still have to meet all power requirements of the machine your trying to power though
Curunir Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) In the current Tekkit, power generation is recommended in RF only, that means Dynamos or Reactors. The conduits will do the magic, and output MJ to machines that request it. So the answer to your question is "you don't". You produce and store Redstone Flux, which is done with energy cells from Thermal Expansion. Edited March 5, 2014 by Curunir
