Hello!

I'm having this problem where if I put this link in https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0BwBoFB9LDpI0R3ZudzVjeUlBRFk (It's direct) It says You must provide a valid link to your custom zip. But if I were to put in random links such as minecraft.net or google.com it is valid! Help!  :(

If I am posting this on the wrong section can you please move it as I am new to the forums.

It's a script link not a direct link, just because you download the file from clicking that doesn't make it direct

Anything after the ? is ignored so what it's seeing is https://drive.google.com/uc which is invalid because it lacks a file extension

http://tptiap.co.uk/dl/dl.php?file=placecraft&ext=zip

Both of these links will download my modpack, both are valid links to the platform, but only the 2nd link will work on the launcher

Oh ok. Thanks! But why did a link similar to what I posted work before? It worked the 1st, 2nd but not the 3rd time. Hmm...

um... That site you gave me is the same site I used to make the link.

Then I can't help you, you will need to use a different host that allows direct links

ubuntu one seems to work well

Thanks! I used dropbox and now my modpack works! :D

I hope it doesn't get popular as dropbox will shutdown your direct links for generating a lot of traffic
