Safari ball + Wither skeleton?

Hello,

I'm playing on my own server
But my problem is whenever i go to the nether to catch a wither skeleton in a Reuseable Safari net it just turns into a regular skeleton

What is this problem and is it possible to be solved?

Using an auto-spawner, you can set it to exact-copy mode, which will respect the fact that it is a wither skeleton. Otherwise, no.

In case you're wondering why, it's because the Wither skeleton is a variant on the normal skeleton in the same way white/brown/grey sheep are variants of one another as far as minecraft cares.

Am i still able to get the necrotic bones and skulls from the wither skeletons then?

Using an autospawner, yes, they spawn just like regular wither skeletons. It however is quite expensive to run those machines.

Ohhh, but i got a lot of mob essence stored up in portable tanks already, so that won't be a problem a think!
