Loader Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Java is the name of the programming environment that Minecraft runs in (this is how it runs on Linux or MacOS pretty much as easily as it does on Windows). In the case of Minecraft, it can run in version 1.6 or newer of Java. In the case of B-Team in its current version, it can run in version 1.7 or newer of Java (but 1.6 won't work right now). That's the main problem people are having with Java right now. Quote
