infernalinfernos Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 So I put together a modpack for myself and came across this.... Clearly Food Plus and Ars Magica had some problems.... What's this originally supposed to craft? And also, I don't recall these mods giving me too much trouble when I was messing with item ID conflicts. What would have caused this? Even though I didnt see any more, would/could there be more recipes that are messed up?
Neowulf Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 You much have a recipe editing mod in there with some bad data. That recipe is for the mana battery, a block, and block ID collisions cause forge to error out. So either something really weird is going on or you have a mod telling forge to change the recipe to output seaweed instead of the correct output. Now if it was an item colliding you'd have an easy fix. Just do an item/block ID dump in NEI and change the config for one of those two mods to use a completely different ID range.
infernalinfernos Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Ok, this is really weird... I searched up mana battery in NEI in my modpack, and it seems this item doesnt even exist. In the configs the mana battery is set to item ID 770, but the seaweed is set to 514. I have no idea what's going on... Any recommended fixes?
infernalinfernos Posted March 20, 2014 Author Posted March 20, 2014 Without Food Plus the mana battery exists and has the correct recipe. Added food plus again, poof. No mana battery to be seen in NEI, seaweed is craftable
Neowulf Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Find a decent range of free block IDs and set everything from AM2 to it. Something is overwriting something else and the best way to fix it is like with kids annoying eachother, separate them.
