Technic launcher takes AGES to verify!

So suddenly today, after restarting my computer (I restarted before I went to bed last night. It worked fine last night) it gets stuck verifying the files.

 

I press the button to launch Tekkit.

It starts to verify the files.

It gets stuck verifying something, usually ANY random thing it just stops and keeps being stuck at 0% verifying for AT LEAST 15 minutes. I gave up every other time, it's only loaded once.

 

I think this is stupendously long to wait for the game to verify one file.

 

Why could it be doing this, any solutions?

I forgot to mention, it didn't get stuck on verifying after I logged off of the launcher, closed it, changed my password, and THEN tried to play. It only actually didn't get stuck the first 2 times and then went back to being stuck.

I think that you may have better results if you head over to the bugs section and post a report, I don't know what it may be because the launcher works fine for me and I can't tell you anything until you post more information.
