minecraft version

So I wanted to play some tekkit again for the first time in about a year and downloaded the launcher. however I find that a lot of the tekkit servers are 1.7.4 and my minecraft version is 1.6.4. I have tried manually selecting a build and always use latest build option, but it is still in 1.6.4.

 

So my question is how do I get it to 1.7.4?

Tekkit does not have a 1.7.4 version as some (if not all) of the mods are not updated to 1.7
