ClarkLovesSnakes Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 (edited) I'm sorry to say, that I'm having trouble with my own modpack, even after reading all the other posts of people who have similar problems. I'm currently having the problem of my pack loading, but it only loading vanilla minecraft. The pack is here: http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/details/clark-craft-server-modpack.343202 Anyway, I'm hosting it with copy: https://copy.com/A1Ql1381Kmyf which I'm using as the modpack location on the platform. Thank you anyone who helps, ClarkLovesSnakes Edit: Saw that that copy wasn't working, the direct download should be this https://copy.com/A1Ql1381Kmyf/ClarkCraftModpack.zip?download=1 Still not working though Edited May 2, 2014 by ClarkLovesSnakes
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 2, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted May 2, 2014 Your copy.com link should actually be: https://copy.com/A1Ql1381Kmyf?download=1 Your required folders (bin, config, mods) are in a subfolder inside your pack archive. All of the "top level" folders should be at the top level of your ZIP archive. You probably should remove the MacOS specific files (.DS_Store and __MACOSX) You have extracted the mods which come in ZIP format into your mods folder. Don't do this. Leave them as .zip files in the mods folder. If you are going to run IC2 for 1.6.4 I highly recommend looking at this post. At a minimum you will want the IC2Fixes mod (and an updated IC2 mod):

At a minimum you will want the IC2Fixes mod (and an updated IC2 mod): 1.I fixed the link, caught that one myself 2.I've got the folders correct now (had an outdated tutorial) 3.I can't seem to find those (Why does everything computer-like have to hate macs? grrr) 4.Again, mac likes to unzip things for me, I'll have to recompress them (that'll work right?) 5.Thanks for the IC2 help, I'll get to that Edited May 2, 2014 by ClarkLovesSnakes
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 2, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted May 2, 2014 4.Again, mac likes to unzip things for me, I'll have to recompress them (that'll work right?) I would recommend that you just re-download the mods from the author's preferred distribution channels.

Can do, but again, of those things the most pressing problem is those mac-specific files, I can't seem to find them Thanks for all the help! Edit: also, Forge Multipart, World Core universal, and ChickenCodeLib are compressed, but in a separate folder. Is that a part of the problem, or are they ok? Edited May 2, 2014 by ClarkLovesSnakes
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 2, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted May 2, 2014 Oh, not at all. The "mac specific files" are just distracting and should have no impact on the operation of the pack (I don't think). The critical issue is that your required modpack folders are inside a subfolder in your pack zip file. The pack won't work if they are like that.

Well, in that case, I'll finish re-downloading the zips, fix up my Industrial craft, and then it looks like I'll be good to go. Thanks again for your help! -Clark
