Transferring RF using P2P tunnels

How reliable is transferring RF through P2P tunnels? I heard that the P2P Tunnels constantly drain RF and nobody wants that. But running energy conduits and me cable can get annoying. Having 30 tesseracts in your base isn't the solution either.

well, last I checked, you can't transfer RF through P2P tunnels, only MJ / RF -> MJ (which is fine for non-thermal expansion machines, like MFR machines). Instead, I use MJ p2p tunnels where I can get away with it, and then tesseracts elsewhere...
