Rissian Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 (edited) Is there a utility out there that can fix conflicting IDs for you? Specifically, I'm looking for one that you can tell to just focus on changing IDs in the config for a single mod. I'm looking to avoid messing up an existing world, and I'm dealing with a self-edited modpack using some kind of ID offset (and I'm unable to discern how much it's offsetting by) that ends up accidentally driving the item IDs into 32000+ territory on a single, newly-introduced mod. Thanks in advance! Edited May 12, 2014 by Rissian Quote
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 12, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted May 12, 2014 Most mods have shifted item IDs. The in-game ID is 256 higher than the one in the config. Open your pack without the new mod, open your inventory, select Options (NEI) in the bottom left, go to Tools and dump all Item and Block IDs. Inspect this file for an open range of IDs and, taking the shift into account, edit the config of the new mod to fit. Quote
