Help with Custom Modpack

Hi! I've been trying to put together a little modpack for me and my friends to play, and it's my first time doing it!

I've managed to get the pack to load in now, but it crashes before the game can actually start. I was wondering what the problem here is.

• You need to update some mods. At a minimum, CodeChickenCore, ChickenChunks, Galacticraft, and ProjectRed.
• It seems like you have mismatched Calclavia mods (CalclaviaCore, ICBM, UniversalElectricity)
• If you intend to run a server you MUST include config files with your modpack and use those same config files with your server setup.

I've updated those mods you listed, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean by the next two steps. Could you please elaborate? Sorry for my noobishness.

Calclavia's mods depend on CalclaviaCore and UniversalElectricity. In this case we are talking about ICBM. However, he doesn't make sure that everything is always re-built to match the current versions. This means that the latest version of ICBM might not work if used in conjunction with the most recent builds of CalclaviaCore or UE. You need to find out what versions "work" together.

 

As for the configs, once your pack is working locally you will have a fully populated config folder. That config folder and its contents MUST be included in your pack archive and used on your server. If you fail to do this you will likely have ID mismatches between client and server.

I have a suspicion that this might be some ID errors, but I don't really know how to approach this efficently. Is there an up to date program of some kind that I can use?

Alright, I figured out that I was a bit stupid and that not all the versions of the mods were matched up, but I'm pretty sure I've got that done now. Apologies for that waste of a post. And sorry for double posting, but I'm sort of at a loss here.

ComputerCraft is the root of your problem. Fairly recently the recommended CC went from 1.58 to 1.63. However, a lot of mods you have include the CC API so you have to make sure that they all match. These are:

 

• BigReactors (0.3.0A for CC 1.58, 0.3.3A+ for CC 1.63)
• ComputerCraft (1.58 or 1.63)
• OpenCCSensors (1.6.4.1b for CC 1.58, 1.6.4.3 for CC 1.63)
• OpenModsLib (http://www.openblocks.info/ for CC 1.58, Dev versions http://www.openmods.info:8080/ for CC 1.63)
• OpenPeripheralCore(http://www.openblocks.info/ for CC 1.58, Dev versions http://www.openmods.info:8080/ for CC 1.63)
• OpenPeripheralAddons(http://www.openblocks.info/ for CC 1.58, Dev versions http://www.openmods.info:8080/ for CC 1.63)

OpenCCSensors also now has a CC 1.63 version available.
