gamerpenguin Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I feel like an idiot, but I'm stuck. When I first downloaded the launcher, it opened automatically. I played AotBT for a while and then quit. Now I can't find the launcher again. I know where the files are housed, but I can't figure out how to launch the launcher. There's no icon on the desktop or in the start menu, and I can't find any executables in the .technic folder. Or do I have to launch from the Wed somehow? I'll be sitting here eating paste while I wait for a reply. Thanks in advance. Quote
Random_chan Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Does you're computer have a downloads folder or a place where downloaded things from the internet are automatically saved to? I'd check there if I was you. Quote
gamerpenguin Posted May 14, 2014 Author Posted May 14, 2014 (edited) I checked there (and again on your suggestion). No sign of Technic. If I recall, I ran and extracted directly into the roaming file, where it all now resides. But no launcher. I did get it to work, sort of, by telling the Web site to try downloading again. It just started normally (I think) but I'd rather not have to connect to the net every time. Edited May 14, 2014 by gamerpenguin Quote
Maxis010 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 What browser do you use? Does it allow you to specify where you download to? If yes then set it to download to my documents or another location you can easily find then make a shortcut to the launcher for your desktop If no then search your browser options for a default download location Quote
