NWright191 Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Hello, a mod locked my post and was kind enough to tell me not to post in that area again, but didn't tell me where to post crash reports/issues. This looks to be the right place, so I'll post it here, but if it's not, please tell me where to post this so I can get this issue fixed. Also, please read ALL of it! At the end I give my specs and the fixes I've tried. So before you tell me "oh, you dummy, just do what the report says!" read the ENTIRE post and educate yourself as to what I have tried. I swear, I'm not THAT dumb. ---------------------------------------------- Bad video card drivers! ----------------------- Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode. This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers. --- BEGIN ERROR REPORT 7fe0271 -------- Generated 5/16/14 8:48 PM -- System Details -- Details: Minecraft Version: 1.5.2 Operating System: Windows 8.1 (x86) version 6.3 Java Version: 1.7.0_55, Oracle Corporation Java VM Version: Java HotSpot™ Client VM (mixed mode), Oracle Corporation Memory: 24770960 bytes (23 MB) / 81494016 bytes (77 MB) up to 1037959168 bytes (989 MB) JVM Flags: 3 total; -XX:HeapDumpPath=MojangTricksIntelDriversForPerformance_javaw.exe_minecraft.exe.heapdump -Xmx1024m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m AABB Pool Size: 0 (0 bytes; 0 MB) allocated, 0 (0 bytes; 0 MB) used Suspicious classes: FML and Forge are installed IntCache: cache: 0, tcache: 0, allocated: 0, tallocated: 0 FML: LWJGL: 2.9.0 OpenGL: ~~ERROR~~ RuntimeException: No OpenGL context found in the current thread. fidchelle Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 You post crash reports in the bug section sir. Please do not post crash reports in this section or you will get banned. Bug reports section: http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted May 18, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted May 18, 2014 You don't mention if this is with a custom pack or one of the built in Technic packs. If it is a Technic pack then this post belongs in the appropriate Tracker. If the default packs work but a particular custom pack does not then you'll need to contact the pack author. Are you able to run Minecraft with Mojang's launcher?
NWright191 Posted May 18, 2014 Author Posted May 18, 2014 (edited) Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. If you want to follow this, the new address is here: http://forums.technicpack.net/tracker/issue-2177-bigdig-crashes-on-startup/ EDIT: Also, going to mark this as solved, as it's now in the right place.
