Akeffala Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I have a server on mineocity.com They use Multicraft panel to control the server. I'm trying to figure out how to add mods without everyone having to download them to play also. My skype is Akeffala.
Stop mocking me0 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I… Do not think that's possible… If that were the case then while some people see nuclear reactors, others would see sand powering glass… The game would initially… Bug out. What technic here does is allow a separate version of mine craft to allow downloading of mods, so it's easy to regulate and share a single easy-download mod pack which you can create a server for without disrupting your normal mine craft. I suggest you make a page for a mod pack, and a mod pack, and a server for that mod pack. Then anyone you want to join just add links the the page and the technic launcher download. (Some instructions would be nice) If you want help with the technic mod pack I can help if it's 1.6.4 (I can work with 1.7.2 but it takes a bit longer) and doesn't work with flans….
Akeffala Posted May 25, 2014 Author Posted May 25, 2014 but how do i make the server for that modpack
Stop mocking me0 Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 Well, I suggest you don't worry about making it. To make a server with a mod pack one needs to use a computer's personal terminal to hold it. Without the proper execution, servers are possible, but choppy, broken, biomes cut into perfect squares, whole dimensions missing blocks, item ID bug out and everything is sad. Your best bet is to move over to the server swap section and ask someone there to either formulate a way to create a server, or help your client create a modded server. On the other hand, you can just ask your client to work with modding servers as well. But not all clients hold modded servers. Some do but it costs extra. :|
