Techrosis
This is a survival/adventure pack that's designed with difficulty in mind. It's based heavily on Iguana Tweaks Tinker's Construct. Normal tool crafting is blocked as you must create all tools and weapons using Tinker's Construct. However, these weapons LEVEL UP as you use them to gain strength and new abilities. Also, the materials they are made from can be swapped out and upgraded. Instructions on getting start on in a link from the modpack page. What's even better is I've also included Metallurgy 3 materials. This way some crazy cool gear can be made. Also, we are using Iguana's Hunger overhaul so make sure you eat properly!!! And just to spice things up even more all Teleporting/Warping is disabled. But don't fear as we have Subaraki's Gravestone mod to help with the corpse runs Also, PVP will be enabled, however we will still use the GriefPrevention plugin to keep the griefers in check. This is geared up to be a truely challenging survival pack. Enjoy! One other thing to note about all my packs is that I strive to make sure things are balanced as far as tools, weapons, mobs, etc. There are FAR too many packs out there where people just throw a bunch of mods together and call it a "pack". I modify lots of configs to try to achieve some sort of balance and one of the huge things is spawns. I think you will find that there are a nice mix of spawns in this pack. If anyone has any suggestions feel free to leave a message in the modpack discussion area or here on the forum. Thanks for downloading and have fun! Lots more information such as the mods included and Grief Preventer instructions are on the modpack page. Thanks for taking a look and hopefully we'll see you on the server! CheesyCore
i see you took almost every mod from the blood n' bones, to make hard mod, and added some known another mods, but if your major mod on the pack is iguana tweaks to tinker's construct, you putted some mods that "little" break it, like dartcradt, with her pretty cheap tools that can mine diamonds, thaumcraft, just like dartcraft, nether ores, the iguana tweaks dont nerf it, and more
Techrosis
Never heard of blood n' bones....but dart craft doesn't really break it because it doesn't matter if you can get diamonds...you still can't craft tools or weapons with them...just armor, and besides that there is still a bit of work that goes into dartcraft as far as leveling up the infusion table etc....and thaumcraft is the same way....all the time invested in the research sorta balances it out....either way no matter which path you go down such as strictly leveling up your tinker's gear or devoting time to ars, dartcraft, or thaumcraft it balances out pretty well....i hope you still enjoy the pack....and thanks for your input. I'm messing around with a 1.7.2 pack now if you are interested in taking a look you can find it here: http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/details/techrosis-172-adventure.385741 Edited June 16, 2014 by Techrosis

clarity2199
Actually, I think Cheesy has a point. If you're making a hard modpack, then Dartcraft doesn't exactly fit. You may not be able to use the diamonds you mined to make tools, but if you got Dartcraft tools, it doesn't matter. With it, you can practically dominate everything without diamonds. It defeats the very reason of having Iguana's build up for Tinkers construct, cuz no one will bother to use it.
