whatisblood1 Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Okay so I have tried draging the recommended server jar (1.7.2, even though the tekkit server is running minecraft version 1.6.4) from Cauldron (formely mcpc+). I drag the cauldron jar into the tekkit server directory and rename it Tekkit.jar. From here on I get weird ass errors and it will not seem to work no matter what method I try. Can someone give me a link to the jar file im sopposed to be replacing the Tekkit.jar file with as well as any information on how to correctly implement it on my server? Everywhere I go it says just install it, or just put it in the server directory and rename it Tekkit.jar and start the server. Completely lost if you couldnt tell... whatisblood1 Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 Just tried it dragging "cauldron-1.7.2-1.1098.04.11-server" into the root folder and renaming it "Tekkit.jar" and I get an error saying that "we appear to be missing one or more essential library files" when we try to run the server. It is coming up as a forge error though. I literally cant even... Quote

whatisblood1 Posted June 4, 2014 Author Posted June 4, 2014 *update* I just found and put "mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B272.jar" into the root server folder and renamed it "Tekkit.jar" and I get an error saying the server was unable to launch when I run the "launch.bat" file. Am I doing something wrong? Quote
whatisblood1 Posted June 5, 2014 Author Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) Well since no one cares to help I will keep updating this post with any progress Ive made just incase others are trying to figure this out as well. I think ive isolated the problem. I can only find "mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B272.jar" and what I believe I need is "mcpc-plus-1.6.4-R2.1-forge965-B262.jar". I think that if im able to locate that version of mcpc+ that it might work. Will update once Ive found it. Edited June 5, 2014 by whatisblood1 Quote
Curunir Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) It may just be that nobody can help. The devs are not even looking at the tracker much these days, and even less at random problems posted on Discussion. Thanks for sharing your insights, though. Edited June 5, 2014 by Curunir Quote
