Ah yeah I see through your ruse! Nobody doesn't want to connect to minecraft.net, you see, because its completely painless. What would have been a better excuse would have been "I don't want to put my Minecraft account information into a third-party program" because at least that has some merit. Of course, I would have just said "Its open source you dumb idiot!!!!!!!!!!" but I would have used more spittle and exclamation points. You understand right? Right.
