SwiftasDeath Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Hey sorry but I am very new to this, I had a question on how to produce a hexxit server using Cauldron. In previous versions (1.5.2 seems relatively common) I have seen that people simply replaced the hexxit jar in the default hexxit server with the mcpc+ jar and then running the launch.bat to download the libraries. But since the release of the new launcher from previous mcpc+ (Cauldron/1.7.2) this no longer works. Does anyone know how to set this up with the newer version? Is it better to use 1.5.2 anyways as it is far more common at the moment? Sorry if this is off topic for this forum, I wasnt sure where i should post a question like this. Thanks in advance!
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted June 18, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted June 18, 2014 It still works, you just have to use the version of MCPC+/Cauldron for the version of Forge/MC you are using. If you pack (I'm assuming Hexxit is based on 1.5.2?) is using a particular build of Forge for MC 1.5.2 then you have to use the MCPC+/Cauldron build with the same version of Forge and MC.
