KreatorB Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Hello, I have been trying for the last several hours to get my server up and running but keep getting the following. Connection refused... I have the following setup Windows 8.1, D-Link Router - Ports opened B-Team 1.64 Server Minecraft 1.64 Mcafee Softyware ports opened Java Updated to x64 version I have tried turning off the Mcafee and that did not work, I have checked my ports and it says they are not opened. Also I have noticed that when I deicated the ip to the server it does not bind. I have also been told that the port might be used by another server but I have none running. Has anyone had any issues of sorts? Any idea to help would be great as i would love to start my own little server for friends... Thanks K
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted June 24, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted June 24, 2014 Don't set the "server-ip" field in server.properties. This should be left blank. Are you able to connect to your "internal" IP address for the server? If you are inside your network you should be using the local address, not your public IP to connect to the server. Make sure that the port listed in server.properties is the port you have opened in your DLink and that the redirect is pointing at the correct internal IP address. Make sure the port is open in the firewall of the machine running the server (if the firewall is on).

But when I list mt server and try to get peeps to login it does not work. That is why I find it wierd, I can run locally but not exteranlly. will try your server.properties to see if that helps~ Thanks
