TallonAM Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 (edited) I have created a valid, plublically available folder and made sure the modpack.zip file has read and execute rights on the server. However, the launcher still fails to download from <site redacted> I can have anyone access that file from the web and download with no issue. Can someone please tell me what I'm donig wrong? Moderators Munaus Posted June 27, 2014 Moderators Posted June 27, 2014 that 3 / 2 / 1 tries remaining and Failed! is something I've seen a lot in the Tracker. Usually your antivirus involved Quote

Moderators Munaus Posted June 27, 2014 Moderators Posted June 27, 2014 No security programs? ad-aware, or a webproxy? Quote
TallonAM Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 (edited) On my browsers yes, on my system as a whole, no. Don't worry I'm safe on the web, I just don't like watchdog programs. The problem is running through the launcher for download whichis the only way I'm unable to download that file. Unless it has an AV or other program built in there should be nothing in the way of the luacher and that file. If it helps you can try it yourself and see if you can get anything else out of it other than failure. <site redacted> Edited June 28, 2014 by TallonAM Quote
TallonAM Posted June 28, 2014 Author Posted June 28, 2014 Solved, turns out my file compression was not working properly. Quote
